"May/December relationship refers to a relationship between two people where one partner is in the "winter" of their life (old) and the other partner in the relationship is in the "spring" of their life (young). This can go either way such as the woman is older or the man is older."

Definition of Cougar:
"An older woman who happens to find herself in a relationship with a younger man." --- I hate this term a lot.

1. Tavia Yeung (36) and Him Law (31)

The two began dating after their first collaboration in TVB series The Hippocratic Crush. In the series, Him's character harbors feelings towards Tavia's character but it was only one-sided. Ironically, the two ended up together in real life, writing a new ending to the original Hippocratic Crush.

After the "car-shaking" scandal, the two held a press conference to clarify and also admitted that they were still in the process of getting to know each other. There have been numerous cheating rumors revolving Him but their ongoing strong relationship prove these rumors to be wrong. The couple shared wedding photos taken in England and has officially announced that they registered their marriage on March 22nd. Their wedding will be held on October 2nd in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel with an estimate of 40 to 50 tables. Tavia has chosen good friends Christine Ng and Sharon Chan as her bridesmaids while Him has invited Ron Ng and Vincent Wong as his groomsmen.

2. Ruby Lin (40) and Wallace Huo (36)



These two actors have stayed lifelong friends since their first collaboration in Taiwanese TV series Sound of Colors in 2006. Their careers both diverged and it wasn't until recently that their paths once again converged in Mainland China after establishing a stable position in the Chinese entertainment industry. With more quality time spent together, it is no surprise that the couple actually worked out! It was rumored that Wallace has started liking Ruby since then but this has not been verified. The two officially announced on May 20th (Chinese Valentine's Day) that they have been dating for three months.

It was recently announced that the couple will be getting married on July 31st in Bali, which led to speculations of Ruby already being with child.

3. Michelle Chen (33) and Chen Xiao (29)







The two actors fell in love with each other during the filming of producer Yu Zheng's TV series adaptation of Jin Yong's Return of the Condor Heroes. Facing negative media coverage of playing the titular role Little Dragon Girl, Michelle suffered from depression and it was during this period of time that Chen Xiao stood by her side and supported her. Their relationship blossomed and they were caught entering a hotel together, which led to their announcement of their relationship on Weibo.

On July 5th, Michelle announced that she is pregnant and that they will be holding two weddings, one in Beijing and one in Taiwan, respectively on July 19th and July 21st.

4. Chen Zihan (38) and Dai Xiangyu (31)

Initially an actor managed under Singapore's Mediacorp, Chinese actor Dai Xiangyu returned to the Mainland Chinese entertainment industry in the recent years. The two were introduced by their manager and have since collaborated in three TV series Singles Villa, The Girl Wearing Tassle Earrings, and Demon Girl. It was announced on May 19th that Dai successfully proposed to Chen Zihan after a year of dating and have already registered their marriage. They have already registered their marriage and the wedding will be held possibly in November or December.

5. Zhang Xinyi (35) and Yuan Hong (33)


Similar to Wallace Huo and Ruby Lin, the couple announced that they were dating on May 20th but of last year. Zhang Xinyi, who was previously married to director Yang Shupeng, and Yuan Hong dated for a year and decided to tie the knot on May 30th in Frankfurt, Germany. It is not known how they fell in love but many speculated that it perhaps happened when both were filming TV series Princess Jieyou and sparks flew.
