Did Crystal Liu and Song Seung-Heon really break up?
July 28, 2016Dating for almost close to a year after collaborating in movie The Third Way of Love, Mainland Chinese actress Crystal Liu (刘亦菲) and Korean actor Song Seung-Heon (宋承宪) were rumored to have broken up. Since both parties didn't respond, many speculated that the pair wasn't a couple from the start and just got together for promotional purpose.
This March, it was already rumored that their relationship changed because Crystal and singer Yico Zeng are in a lesbian relationship. Following that rumor in May, Song's message "Won't be able to give you happiness anymore" caused many to believe the two might have broken up.
Finally two months later, Song's management company released a statement clarifying that he "absolutely did not break up with Crystal". He also revealed that they don't need to explain to others and that there is no reason to be in a fake relationship. When asked whether they would be getting married soon, he expressed he doesn't have such plans as of now.
