Go Princess Go Episode 35 Ending Thoughts
January 15, 2016For more information on this drama, please visit this link to the introduction.
I'm up to episode 32 so three more episodes to go but I've skipped to episode 35 and SKIMMED IT to see how the ending is and I had a WTF moment just like everybody else who saw it.
Everything went smoothly like Qi Sheng abdicating the throne to elope with Zhang Peng Peng.
It seems like they went to Korea(?) and they have their fun in speaking in the language
SO CUTE <3 nbsp="">3>
I couldn't watch anymore after that. I do want to finish this drama since I've watched more than 90% already. Might as well just shut my screen in the middle of episode 35 and call it a day. It's just like TVB Bottled Passion where the second to last episode should be the ending --- it was ridiculous for the main lead to die and sail away!
I did more research and the director explained that this is the first ending. Perhaps, LETV will released the second ending too (a happier one)?
But all in all, it's just a drama, nothing to take too seriously about --- for the sake of perfection, I would suggest stop at 23:14 and fast-forward to 34:08 to enjoy the drama and skip that silent sequence of the web series.
- So in the middle of the episode, it begins with Zhang Peng Peng smiling and all happy near a heart made with flower petals and then Qi Sheng appears in the background.
- Everything was nice with the cheerful music and then all of a sudden out of nowhere a weapon hits ZPP and she falls.
- Qi Sheng immediately rushes to her.
- The music stops.
- Flashback starts showing the cute scenes between the OTP.
She is dancing and then a weapon pierces her body with no explanation what happened.
- And then camera flashes towards Zhang Peng (modern-day man) in the hospital waking up.
- Note, all of this sequence is muted with no dialogue, no sound.
I feel like the appearance of this character/actor tarnishes the entertainment value of this drama.
Kind of shatters everything that we've seen previously
- Zhang Peng is seen running around and revisiting the scenes Qi Sheng and Zhang Peng Peng often had their talks.
- He sits down across from a nonexistent Zhang Peng Peng.
But the show ends with this:
Why not just cut out that ridiculous scene? Might as well someone edit out all those scenes and close with this beautiful and tranquil screenshot
