Zhang Peng is a playboy who hits his head as he falls into a pool when he's trying to run away from an ex-girlfriend. He wakes up to find that he traveled a thousand years into the past. But, that's not even the biggest problem, he is trapped inside the body of the crown princess of the dynasty - Zhang Peng Peng who is married to the cold-hearted crown prince. The Crown Prince is not one bit interested or affectionate towards his own wife because he is in love with his sister-in-law (Zhang Peng Peng little step-sister) However, after the soul switching incident, the crown princess stopped trying to gain the crown prince's attention and affection but shifted her attention and seduction to the other beauties in her husband's harem. She tries hard to keep her husband away from her bed by pushing him to his other concubines. Her lack of affection and jealousy intrigued the crown prince and he gradually fall in love with her. How will the crown princess reacts to her husband's sudden affection for her?

1) Zhang Peng wakes up from a dream --- this means everything is a dream after all
     a) This would suck if this is true ---> it's like wasting time watching an entire drama and then realizing it's all a dream
     b) It's like Palace II (Jade Palace Lock Bead) but its plot/cast wasn't as great as this one and it was super long though its costumes and scenery is definitely a lot better


2) Novel ending: The emperor fakes his death so that his son can be the emperor while he and Zhang Peng Peng can travel around the world together

     a) This can possibly be an ending since we do see a scene of Qi Sheng and Zhang Peng Peng dressed in traditional Korean attire
     b) Second Prince and Lu Li happily ends up together
     c) Ninth Prince is demoted to a commoner due to his rebellion
     d) Zhang Shi ends up alone


My Thoughts So Far:
1) I love the two main leads: they are beautiful people and good as newbies --- since this web drama is quite popular now, I really hope they can film more dramas with great plots and high-quality costumes and sceneries

2) Due to the production's budget constraint, the costumes and scenery are incomparable to Nirvana in Fire or even Yu Zheng's Jade Palace Lock Heart. I remember reading that there are only two main setting that is reused, Zhang Peng Peng's room and the palace's court. The costumes are also really weird to look at especially the men that wear shorts (reminds me of a TVB wuxia drama where the second lead wore shorts too), women wear short dresses and halter tops (reminds me the princess' costume in Mischievous Princess), the cast wears sandals instead of the closed-toe shoes. In other words, it is the plot and cast that makes this web drama worth the watch.

3) It is super short --- each is 20 minutes long and with 35 episodes, that means it would be around 17 40-minutes episodes long which is not bad. Short dramas are definitely a breeze to watch!

4) The actress is really beautiful --- she is like a mix of Korean actress Choo Ja Hyun and Chinese actress Zhang Lin Xin (Xia Dong from Nirvana in Fire)

5) People say this drama is poisonous and some say it's because they sympathize the production team who is able to produce a watchable drama with such a low budget. What's keeping this drama up is the storyline which is adapted from a novel and the cast.

6) I liked the Ninth Prince at first but as the drama goes on, I realized how skinny and feminine he is --- I read that he did started working out for the drama but I think he is skinnier than the female leads in the drama.

The Music:
After listening for awhile, I like the first song which is the ending song sang by a female in the drama.
