Noble, My Love (K-Drama)

January 11, 2016

Synopsis: (credits to Dramawiki)
Lee Kang Hoon (Sung Hoon) is a wealthy heir who is attractive, but he cares little for the feelings of other people. Cha Yoon Seo (Kim Jae Kyung) is a cheerful and lovely veterinarian who runs her own animal hospital. After the two meet in an unexpected crisis, can feelings of dislike turn into feelings of love?

My Rating:
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ - 9/10 stars
For a web drama, I would give it a 9/10 stars since after all it's a pretty cliche plot but it's executed well in a sense that it doesn't bore me. It's short and simple, making it easy to watch. The leads are both beautiful people!!! They are hilarious in their scenes too though Kim Jae Jyung (Cha Yoon Seo) may exaggerate a bit. But that doesn't matter since this is a comedy after all.

Actor Sung Hoon reminds me of a mix of Chinese actor Andy Zhang (Dongfang from The Journey of Flower) and Chinese actor Kimi Qiao.
(-1) Too cliche of a plot

My Thoughts:

1. Short and simple story - it's like a simplified version of many dramas with an addition of annoying characters

2. It's only 15 minutes for each episode and there's only 20 episodes so it doesn't take long to finish --- only 5 hours to complete

3. Since the drama is short, the focus remains on the main lead --- there is no time wasted on things that is there for the sake of making the drama long enough

4. Compare to dramas with huge sponsors, the budget is smaller and thus some scenes like the CEO's office doesn't really show how wealthy Lee Kang Hoon is

5. Favorite scenes:
     a) Cha Yoon Seo saves Lee Kang Hoon which is the start of their intertwined fate
     b) Lee Kang Hoon buys the building of her hospital to force her to move to his building
     c) When she is looking for a studio to move into, someone buys it again and she realizes it's dejavu --- it's Lee Kang Hoon again
     d) The scenes where her frenemy attempts to embarrass her but Lee Kang Hoon saves her from being embarrass
     e) Cha Yoon Seo is afraid of the thunder and accidentally jumps onto Lee Kang Hoon

6. This is such a easy watch that I don't mind spending a few hours watching/enjoying it
